NEW HIGH PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY MEDIA
CONDA adds 22 new dehydrated culture media to its already wide range of products for laboratory use and different industries:
• 4 new media for the enrichment of Listeria spp:
· UVM-I Listeria Selective Enrichment Broth, Modified (Cat. 1279):
Medium for the selective enrichment of Listeria spp in two stages as per USDA-FSIS procedures.
· UVM-II Listeria Selective Enrichment Broth, Modified (Cat. 1280):
Medium for the selective enrichment of Listeria spp in two stages as per USDA-FSIS procedures.
· Listeria Fraser Broth Base (Cat. 1182): Enrichment medium for detection and isolation of Listeria in food and environmental samples. No need of further addition of antibiotics.
· Listeria Half-Fraser Broth Base (Cat. 1183): Enrichment medium for detection and isolation of Listeria in food and environmental samples. No need of further addition of antibiotics.
• 6 new media for the clinical market:
· Vancomycin Screen Agar (Cat. 1410):
Medium used to test enterococcos resistant to vancomycin.
· Brucella Medium Base (Cat. 1374):
For the cultivation of brucella in diverse clinical specimens, foods and other materials of sanitary interest.
· T.S.A Agar nº2 Modified (Cat. 1198): For the isolation, cultivation and detection of haemolytic activity of fastidious micro-organisms.
· Differential Reinforced Clostridial Broth (Cat. 1416):
Medium for the enumeration of all clostridia by the MPN method in foodstuffs and other materials.
· Blood Agar Base nº 2 (Cat. 1328): For the isolation, cultivation and detection of haemolytic activity of fastidious micro-organisms.
· Clostridium Difficile Agar Base (Cat. 1447): For the isolation of Clostridium difficile when used with supplements.

· Universal Beer Agar (Cat. 1562):
For control of industrial fermentation processes, especially in brewery.
· NBB Agar Base Modified (Cat. 1438): Selective medium used for the detection of contaminating/spoilage micro-organisms in beer.
· NBB Broth Base Modified (Cat. 1440): Selective medium used for the detection of contaminating/spoilage micro-organisms in beer.
· Wort Broth (Cat. 1444): Medium recommended for enumeration and count of yeasts.
