FastPure™ RNA kit enables extraction and purification of high-quality, total RNA from cultured cells or mammalian tissue. The kit is designed for extraction of total RNA from cells cultured on 6 or 10 cm diameter dishes, 3 × 106 - 1.5 × 107 cells grown in suspension, or 5 - 30 mg mammalian tissue samples. No hazardous organic solvents, such as phenol or chloroform, are used in this kit, and the extraction procedure can be completed in about 55 min from preparation of the whole cell lysate. The resulting purified total RNA is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including RT-PCR, Northern blotting, and microarray analysis.
