New industry media brochure

Agaroses: D1 Low EEO agarose

CONDA has been manufacturing high quality agarose for over 20 years. Out of the wide range of agaroses present in our catalogue, the most requested is D1 Low Electroendosmosis Agarose.

Low electroendosmosis agaroses are standard agaroses for the analysis of nucleic acids >1000 bp. These agaroses have high gel strength, are valid for transference techniques (norther blot), have a low gel background and are free from DNase/RNase.

Among its applications we highlight: Electrophoresis (DNA, RNA, proteins, cells and virus by means of electric migration according to the molecular weight of the molecules in question and the size of agarose pore), liquid chromatography (agarose beads) and Inmunodifusion.

As shown above, both agaroses reach the same resolution, so we can trust the results when it comes to changing the agarose product used, and benefit from a competitive price.

Besides, in many cases, gels can be made with lower percentages than standards achieving the same resolution, therefore having a lower agarose consumption without risking electroforesis quality.
