September is bringing a busy schedule of scientific events for Condalab. This month, we will be participating in two key events for the sector: Farmaforum 2026, in Madrid, and the 24th National Congress of Food Microbiology of the Spanish Society for Microbiology, in Gijón. Two events with different profiles, but a common goal: sharing knowledge and showcasing our latest solutions for microbiology, molecular biology, and the development of new processes to researchers and industry professionals.
Farmaforum 2026: innovation for the pharmaceutical industry
On September 22 and 23, we will be at IFEMA Madrid for Farmaforum 2026, one of the leading professional events for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and laboratory technology industries.
This year, one of the main highlights will be our new R&D laboratory, a space created to drive the development of new solutions and continue advancing innovation.
We will also present the new CondaChrome® Pro chromogenic media, developed for final product analysis. Within this new range, we will place special emphasis on chromogenic solutions for the microbiological testing of food supplements, helping laboratories obtain clear and reliable results.
In addition, through Condalab BioSupply, our distribution line, we will expand our offering with solutions for increasingly relevant areas of pharmaceutical and biotechnological research.
On the one hand, we will showcase advanced cell and tissue models for drug development, from primary cells to organoids and reconstructed skin models for advanced cell-based assays.
On the other, we will present our molecular analysis automation solutions, including equipment for complete nucleic acid extraction, quality control, qPCR, and NGS workflows.
Together, these solutions allow us to address different stages of laboratory workflows and support our customers throughout their research and development projects.
Food Microbiology: New Tools for New Challenges
Just a few days earlier, from September 14 to 17, we will be in Gijón to participate in the 24th National Congress of Food Microbiology of the SEM, organized by the Institute of Dairy Products of Asturias (IPLA-CSIC).
The scientific program will address the wide range of challenges currently facing food microbiology, from the study of microorganisms in food to new tools related to Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.
For Condalab, this will be an opportunity to highlight Condagene®, our range of qPCR detection solutions for applications including food safety.
Condagene® combines solutions for DNA extraction and qPCR detection, with kits designed for the identification of pathogens, spoilage organisms, allergens, GMOs, and animal species.
The range includes solutions for Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter jejuni, Cronobacter spp., Vibrio spp., and STEC, among others.
In addition to reducing analysis times, Condagene® incorporates specific probes and protocols designed to simplify workflows and facilitate the implementation of qPCR techniques in the laboratory.
