Bacilus cereus

  • What: cosmetic product biodeterioration  

Clostridum perfringes 

  • Why: this bacteria formresistance spores (deforming)  
  • Where: clay soils and talc (raw material)  
  • What: infection when spore-infected cosmetics are applied to wounds 

Burkholderia cepacea 

  • Why: formation of biofilms  
  • Where: water and ventilation systems (environment)  
  • What: an emergent opportunistic pathogen; causes meningitis, among other pathologies
